Twisted Treeline Champion Select

So on Summoners Rift champ select (draft pick), you aren't required to hit the ban button after selecting a champion. However, when I tried this on Twisted Treeline 3v3, instead of banning the champion I selected, it instead just forced me to dodge the queue, thus purloining my league points. I'm not quite sure if this qualifies as a bug, but if Riot hasn't implemented it I hope you please do, thank you!

They reverted that on Summoner's Rift a really long time ago, didn't they? I remember when they first made the change to stop that, I was dodging a lot because I would click the champ I wanted to ban, then let the timer run out
