Spectator Client Freezes Randomly for 1+ minutes

It has happened with more than 1 caster other than myself with CompeteLeague with several different computers so we know it's a client issue not an individual issue.

It will load into game properly in spectator client, then from there it will randomly freeze, allowing you to press + on the keyboard to move it forward frame by frame but that's all you can do except for moving the camera around the rift.

It will be frozen for an ambiguous amount of time before unfreezing from the time it froze forcing you to fastfoward the time lost to catch up. This can really interrupt watch and casting games.

As spectating isn't hugely popular outside of tournaments or casting since most people will prefer to play solo/duo/flex rather than watch. But it is a bug that is growing more widely known through the casting community.
