Leona Passive Stealing Kills [GAMEPLAY]

Im not completely sure if it is leona's passive, but in the games Ive been playing Leona recently I have stolen kills randomly without igniting or even being near the dying champion. My best guess is that her passive damage is being attributed to her instead of the champion that activates it and that causes her to steal kills
