Syndra W and R vs Yasuo Wall

I just laned as Syn against a Yas and my ult was completely cancelled if one ball went through his wall but the others didn't, and when I lobbed a ball over the wall with w it didn't do any damage when it landed.

This was on the Dominion map if that makes any difference.

The W makes sense, it is a projectile.

The R, I can see why it happens. It's not like the balls do damage as they hit, it's just a very extended animation. Which sucks and feels wrong. If you do a 5-ball ult and he throws his wind wall up after 3 have already gone through, those 3 should really do damage.
