After hiding and unhiding the HUD in spectator mode, spectator can no longer use chat

This has happened many a time in the past but I just assumed that my client needed to be repaired, but I never got around to doing that. After awhile, I repaired my client due to FPS issues (although they weren't resolved), however I noticed that the inability to type in chat during spectator mode remained.

So here's how it works:

You start spectating any game, and can type in chat (albeit messages in game do not show, you can still reply to friends' messages etc.) After pressing H (or whatever hotkey is set to hide the HUD), the HUD disappears and you can no longer use chat (as to be expected, as the HUD includes the chat box). After unhiding the HUD, the chat box reappears alongside the remainder of the HUD, however, the chat box is no longer able to be used.

Pls fix rito my friends keep messaging me while i spectate and i can't respond half the time
