League keeps freezing

I've been having this problem ever since the new client became available, I'll be halfway through a league game and my game freezes, starts making a horrible noise and I have to force shut down my comp. This problem persisted through a factory reset on my comp and never used to happen on it so I don't believe its the computer. It happens no matter which client I launch and as of right now I can't play.
