The Supposed Bug Fix

So in the previous patch, Riot supposedly fixed the bug where souls would fly to Thresh from far away so now the souls won't fly to him from afar. However, I played a game yesterday with my friends and I played as Thresh but that same bug happened. I was running away and a soul from approximately 4 inches away (on my screen) came flying to me and it was added to my soul count.

Is anybody else having the same problem or is it just me?

I also had this bug yesterday, but I think the souls weren't added to my count. I'm not quite sure though.
