Spacebar lock-on transported me back to original spot

I was playing ranked and just messing around by tapping the spacebar to lock back on my character on the way back to lane and found that every time I pressed the spacebar it transported me back to the spot I had started at instead of allowing my character to walk in lane. I have replay video saved but not sure how to add that to this forum. Very weird glitch. I've never seen it before.
