Mac Client Freezing In-game

Hey everyone, I play on the Mac Client and every since patch 5.1 I have had times in game where after a death, recall, smite, baron death, dragon death, or tower destruction, my game would not allow me to move or use any of my abilities. This does not happen every single game but certain instances just made everything go bad. Most of the time my cursor would stay on the screen but the only access to the game I had was the chat menu by hitting Enter on my keyboard. Alt-tabbing out of the game screen did not fix the problem, the only way I could fix the issue was completely reconnecting by closing out of the League Client while being alt-tabbed. If anyone else has had this issue or has any explanation or insight on how to fix the problem it would be greatly appreciated!
