Queue glitch after spectating a game

I was spectating my friend doing a 1v1 on aram (I joined the custom match and clicked spectate before champion selection don't know if that makes a difference but yea) and I decided he'll just tell me what happens anyways so I'll just play a ranked game in the meantime after a short queue everyone accept the match and we get into champ selection I being on top ban a champion and then the spectating match ending and on my screen it gave me the match results when left the result page it took me to the home page of the pvp.net client and i could still hear the noise of the champ selection going on in the background I tried to join queue and it popped up with and error message saying that it the queue was already dedicated to a game in progress and so I couldn't get back into the queue to ban or chose a champion.
