Client is garbage after patch update. [Client]

Ever since the 7.1 update, my client is constantly reconnecting saying the servers are down or I'm having internet connection issues when my internet is fine. Now all of a sudden if I close out of the client for any reason and then go to reopen in, the client opens in the top left most part of my screen and is just a dark blue box. Nothing will load, not even the login screen. I have to completely restart my computer just to open the client. Please fix this.
