Beta Client - Can't do masteries in champ select

I was able to remove my masteries but when I went to re-distribute them they wouldn't add once I got to my last mastery. I was spamming the save mastery button but it wasnt even working. When the game started I hoped that at least i'd have the masteries I successfully put in, but I had 0-0-0 in game. :/ #unlucky
