I was in mid game and client froze(crashed). Now normal app Icon will not work and the only way I can open the app is with the LoLPatcher.app from within the Contents>LoL>RADS>projects>lol_patcher>releases>#.#.#.#>deploy
... How is it that you're having a bug for a patch which isn't even live yet?
This has happened to me literally every game since Patch 5.5 came out. I'm also using OS X 10.10.2.
I'm on 10.9.5 and was having a similar issue.
If your client is unresponsive when you start it (freezes) let is run for 10-15 minutes even if it looks like it's not doing anything. Then terminate the launcher, and launch it again. It should load normally after this.
i have to down load every patch at least twice, sometimes more. why?
