Braum unbreakable and spellthief

Braum unbreakable blocks spellthief's gold procs (at least from Vel'koz) despite him receiving damage. Not only that, but hitting Braum and then another player (in my game Sivir) with a q doesn't proc spellthief a second time.

Sivir shield also blocks the spellthief gold proc (but that's normal).

I just don't think a botlane duo should be able to shut down a third of supports in champ select and have infinite pushing power. What's more it's only going to get worse with the upcoming changes to the support items being merged with sightstone.
