League of Legends logo appears but I immediately get Unspecified error occurred. [CLIENT]

I go to open league of legends and the logo appears. Then immediately I get an error message saying that an unspecified error occurred. Please check logs for more information. I can't continue and the only thing I can do is hit ok and the logo disappears. I'm on a 2015 MacBook Pro on OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. This first occured today after I had played yesterday.
