Negative LP?

So recently i wanted to play a ranked game and when i didn't find a match i canceled queue and re queued, but after that it said i abandoned a recent game (which i didn't) and had to wait 30 min. I was bored so when i checked my league it said i had -17 LP. So what i think what happened is that i went in champion select but it didn't show on my screen so i couldn't do anything and didn't pick champ. I am hoping, if possible to get 20 ish LP because from what i remember i only had about 5 LP.
