The millionth client complaint.
Guess I'll put this on the boards, again. When are you going to fix your piece of sh_t client? The answer is never. For how filthy rich this company is, its genuinely sickening to see the amount of neglect they put into this game. Day in and day out, players including myself are just sitting there staring at their ping bar spinning in circles while their load in is sitting at 100%, but we arent loading in. Thanks for stripping 20 LP from me and giving me 2 remakes in a row! This isn't about this being a once in a while thing either. this is f_cking annoying because it happens to everybody EVERY DAY. But no wonder you guys won't f_cking fix it after 3 years of it being broken. You treat your employees like animals and probably pay them like trash so why would they put effort into the work theyre doing.
When a game like Dead By Daylight spams skins and lets bugs exist, I understand. Thats why this is so frustrating. Even DbD can get their sh_t together before a dominating company like riot can. Do us a favor, if youre not going to fix the game, let it die and focus all of your attention onto TFT and whatever "fighting" game youre making with a partnered company (aka, we'll give you the rights to our name if you do all the work and let us take the money) and let this game die so that we can finally have no reason to come back.
Whoever is in charge of the people that work on the client, should genuinely be fired from their position. This isn't a "oh you dont understand how hard it is to work on stuff like game design and the client" It does not take 3 years to fix the game breaking issues this client brings. You are lazy, and you only care about the money going into your pockets as you continue to sit back, and throw out statements talking about "Oh we hear you loud and clear summoners! We're doing X Y and Z"
Said changes come? They don't fix anything. This game has literally turned into an addiction service and they know it. Throw skins at us, (which by the way, the artists clearly work their asses off and are way too talented to be working for a company like RIot) and hope as many of us stay addicted to the game. Banned? Good! You'll come back and make more accounts and buy boosts and more skins to replace the old ones! The reason they dont give you the option to take chat out of the game is because they want people who are toxic to keep buying boosts and skins for their new accounts. This isn't some conspiracy, its literally what they watch people do. Why else would they give you a "reward message" for getting somebody banned? Punishment for toxic players is supposed to be them being shown they're in the wrong, but riot has turned it into a rewards system for others, which in turn just makes every game a report fest so that 5 dudes can all scream into their discord mics when somebody gets punished.
The fact that I have seen a rioter tweet out a screen cap of the "player report instant feedback received" talking about how it "always feels so good to see this" is actually an insane display of power. Racism, death threats, homophobia, are not what I am talking about. No sh_t those people should be banned and if you wanna reward others for that, do it. But if somebody has a bad day and tells people they suck and gets a chat restrict for it, they're not only going to feel like shit for being an idiot and typing, but you're just encouraging everybody to report the 9 other players for the smallest things so that they can get a quick laugh knowing they just made somebody feel like sh_t. I can tell you right now, nobody reading a "you suck" message from Lee Sin after they failed a dive is having their "game experience ruined"
(And for when this comment inevitably comes, yes, telling people they suck and saying the game is over, (even if you are only saying its over while you continue to try) is 100% bannable. Riots bar for chat restricts is RIDICULOUSLY low considering you can mute your teammates. IMO, telling people they suck at the game is not a cause for ban when they can mute you. This is the lowest type of "flame" you can do and my god its not ruining anybody's life.
Not even sure why I posted this. Riot devs literally do not care about anything other than Money. Yeah moneys good, yes its a business, I get it, but jesus christ, this company doesn't even try to hide the fact that they literally care about nothing other than it.
