FRUSTRATING Loading Glitch / Input Freeze Requires Hard Restart & Ruins Games

This incredibly frustrating thing happened for the first time yesterday and it just happened again.

As soon as champ select ends and the game starts to load there are three things immediately wrong: 1) the LOL arrow mouse cursor is just a normal windows cursor, 2) although the cursor responds to mouse movement normally, clicking on champion loading portraits does nothing, 3) ALT-Tab does not work.

Once the game starts, the game responds to mouse movements by showing the Windows cursor moving around on top of the game map. Keyboard inputs and mouse clicks do nothing. Unplugging and plugging in the usb keyboard and toggling the Bluetooth mouse power does not help.

No keyboard means ALT-Tab, CTRL-ALT-Delete and CTRL-Shift-ESC do nothing, so I am stuck at my keyboard watching a game in which I am "AFK" and ruining the experience for 9 other people. I can see the game rendering and audio are normal. My teammates are calling me AFK and pinging but can do nothing except watch. The only way out is to hard shutdown my computer and restart.

Upon reboot everything loads and launches normally. I get back to the game in which the odds of having a decent competition have tanked and there is a a good chance that someone is raging at me.
