[Champion Select] Champion select freezes after I ban, I receive queue dodge penalty.

This error has occurred twice in a row this morning. I'm the first ban in champion select. I ban a champion and it switches to the opposing team. It stays on "Champion 3 is banning" and I know that the bans and picks are continuing (I can still read chat messages) - but I can't see it. All I can see is the counter ticking to zero for the opposing team's first ban. A message pops up "An unknown error has occurred". The system considers me an afk and I receive penalty.

Please help! Thanks.

(Error was not happening last night.)

Internet connection on my end is working properly.

  • It happened again (now a few hours later) - this time when the client says that I've found a game. It'll just freeze there. Received a 30 minute ban. I've already checked for current versions and made sure LoL files are not corrupted.

This happened to me too. Happens at least once a week since new champ select. Really obnoxious.

This is happening to me as well. I've seen some people say it happens with the "champion 3 is banning" thing, but it seems to be random for me. The client just freezes randomly during champ select and it turns into a dodge for me.

@Fluffy - Agreed, it's happening to me randomly as well. The most recent one was when the client says it found me a match.

Every game i play it freezes in champ select. I receive a penalty as well... please fix
