Still issues with twitch prime and lol account link?

Whenever I attempt to click the link for part 2 on connect page, I am shown this message: "There was an error linking your account. Please try again." I have a twitch prime account, so I have no idea why I am receiving this message.

I saw posts from 5 months ago and it seems it out of nowhere just worked for them in the end. I am trying for 2 weeks now... and get still the same message.

Did someone find a way around this issue or am I the only one?
