CANT LOCK IN during champ select

Basically, as I hover the champion i want to select for the game, the lock button doesn't go yellow, it stayed blue until the time runs out and i get kicked from the queue for dodging. It's the 2nd game in a row, this is the first time it has happened and i "dodged" 2 ranked queues for this! any fixes?
