The unfair afk leave buster

I was trying to get into the game without any intentions of afk, but my internet just got disconnected for no reason temporalily. Then, the client just automatically put me onto the afk leave buster, even though I kept trying to reconnect to the game. I am getting this kind of issue frequently in the past and I am pretty sure this penalty should be implied over people intentionally leaving the game, whereas I were only a victim of the internet disconnection. I think there should be a better policy about this.

And there it is. What's unfair? You keep queueing up, knowing you are likely to end up disconnecting and screwing your team over. If you think this is unfair to you, then ask the teams that ended up losing because of your connections issues if they feel it was fair.

unfortunately, there is no way to make a difference between just dc(like you) and an afk(people that intentionally quit) if they dont punish for internet disconnection specifically, afkers will just unplug internet to ragequit without punishment.

Or what if then the disconnection happened during the draft picking screen? That can probably differentiate the intentional afk from the accidental afks. I am pretty sure that most of the people who seems to be afk within the first 1:30 of the game are probably disconnected by the internet matter, which means that the connection to the actual game was prevented. I've seen these cases a lot during the game. They finally get through the game like about 7:00 minutes after the game has already been proceeded. They weren't intentional as I do.

Your logic is so poor, just like the coding team of LB's module, and that s the reason why LB's process is so stupid sometime. There s a lot of way to sort out the difference between an intentional afker and a dcer. If a team is winning with high advantage in KDA, turret and objectives, should a player in that team rage quit ? If a player never press the fking Surrender Button over thousands of ranked game, should he rage quit in a game that he never quit? Is there a difference between a player who has afk rate like 40/100 games and a player who "look like afk" 4/100 games? Yet, it s not all the idea to make a better algorithm base on the habit players. But, i ll say, there s a lot of bronze in/outside the game, and sometime, Judgment s in their hand.

your idea wont work at all. so if you are losing and your iternet dies, you get punished? if you ragequit but rarely, no punish? if you oftenly have connection issue that are out of your control, get punished?

If you know you are having connection problems then you should test it in a custom game first rather than doing a pvp. You honestly deserve the punishment for knowingly disrupting the game.
