AFK check not working

All day today I've been attempting to join a game but as soon as the AFK check pops up it instantly boots me saying I didn't respond. I've tried multiple things like shutting down and rebooting as well as reinstalling the game. It's now gotten to where I've been penalized for avoiding games that I didn't even have a chance to respond. Is anyone else having this issue and if so how'd you fix it?

Can we get the queue dodge timer removed for this please I have actually had to wait for an hour before because my client needs to reconnect. I frequently can't play because of this please fix this riot.
