Straight to the enemy base, starring Veigar

I was wondering what the new SR would be like, so as soon as I got the new patch I went into Teambuilder, and went Veigar mid (I queued as midlane, mage ofcourse). After a load that was longer then I expected/wanted, I got into the new map and thought it looked pretty. When I clicked on the minimap (somewhere in the bottom red side jungle) Veigar decided to walk to the enemy base. I could not recall. I could not walk in any other direction despite me pointing and clicking as hard as I could; I died to the turret. After appologizing to my team for what would seem to them as a weird, trolly move I buckled up and walked to midlane to start the laning phase. But when I click a few centimeters in front of me to go to the midlane, Veigar walked towards the enemy base again. All my clicking to tell veigar to go back was for naught again. Akali hit me with about one auto attack (or maybe a Q?) the turret did the rest and first blood was the result. Now I was frustrated and got the ol' camera out. I informed and appoligized to both my team and the enemy team of my situation and said I would film once, then unfortunately dc if the go-go veigar bug would still be in action. This was the case. In the video I even clicked BEHIND me on the fountain and yet, the tiny master of evil walked up to the enemy base and got shot in the face by the turret and Gangplank.

I do have a slightly older laptop but leagues performances was always ok for me when playing on the lowest settings. I've never had league do something like this before and quite frankly I don't like it.
