[CRASH] Login issues (MAC)

"There was an error connecting with Maestro. League of Legends will now exit. Please try restarting the client." This popped up numerous times while I tried to reconnect to a game that I had a bugsplat on. League has been going through "bugsplats (mac)" since a few hours ago. This might be related to the log in issue that was going around a couple minutes ago. I am able to log in now, but this resulted my game ending as a leave. Would I be penalized for this game that I supposedly "Left?".
