New update download speed = WTF!

Why does this new update download at 6kbps-25kbps? I have a 24MB dedicated internet line with all other programs running perfectly stable so it must be the LoL upload server or a P2P issue. How do I fix this? I really don't feel like downloading this for 3 days for a simple 140mb

Does Riot not have Mods patrolling the Bug/issue forum?

True... the number is strange... but the patch is done in 5 to 10 minutes -at least for me- , which is not too bad...

By the way, B is byte, b is bit, and 1B = 8b.
