Blitzcrank E does not affect Ezreal when he shifts

I am probably not the only one who has noticed this so I am not quite sure if this is a bug or intended. When Blitzcrank uses his knock up while Ezreal shifts (E) away, Blitzcrank's knock up (E) will go on cooldown but Ezreal will successfully shift and will not receive any knock up. Again, this may be intended, similarly to Ezreal being able to shift out of Blitz's grab, but if it is not, it should get fixed as soon as possible. I have only encountered this problem after pulling Ezreal but it should work just the same when just running up to him and using E. I should add that Ezreal receives the damage from Blitz's E nonetheless.
