I was playing with my friend d4nt3d3v1l on 17-09-2016 and he got an S on his champ nami for the first time. While he got a box, I didn't get anything. I am eligible to get 2 boxes for now.

There are two reasons this could happen without a bug, either you didn't own the champion you were playing, or you had previously earned a box on that champion and therefore were ineligible to earn a box on that champion again

I got all champion in this game so that couldnt be it. Also i have never played this champion with an a or higher, and never got a box earlier from a nami to.

When a premade friend gets an S-, the chest you would get counts for the champion that you are playing, not the one that they were playing. This means that if you have already earned a chest for the champion you were playing, then you will not get a chest.

thanks for that zombiemaster, i think i get it now. If my premade with a new champ gets an s or s+ and gets a box, i only get a box if i play a champ i didnt get an s or s+ already ?
