My game became lost in the void!!

I started a game and it was fine, however about 10 minutes into the game I lost connection(even though my net was fine...), I decided to close the game and reconnect via client. The problem occurred when the client did not give me an option to reconnect, so I closed the client re-logged and it still did not give me an option. I was able to make a new queue and even enter a new game, the game definitely did not end because it only took me a minute to attempt the reconnect, I don't mind losing a game but if I am blocked from entering it, It sucks especially if I get reported and ban for it.
