I got locked as riven against a vi and caitlyn ult soo I immediately pressed Quicksilver Sash but I still got targeted.(Gameplay) Don't know what else to say soo please someone of Riot help me. It caused me a lose. I wanted to bait the ults but because Quicksilver Sash didn't work I just died and then my team also died after that happend.
Caitlyn ult is a lock on. You are not debuffed at any time during her ult. It simply is a cosmetic display to assist players in knowing who is about to be hit by a solid damage projectile.
A debuff is anything that increases damage dealt to a champion, or decreases any of your stats (including health). The Caitlyn ult does nothing to you until you're hit with the projectile. A Quicksilver Sash 
removes any and all debuffs on you immediately, and grants a small movement speed boost (but I think that's only when built into a Mercurial Scimitar

You cant remove a vi ult until you're actually CC'd, by the way. Vi's ult is similar to Caitlyn's . The tether is only to notify everyone who Vi / Caitlyn is about to ult. No debuff (like Vi's knockup) is in progress just because the fake tether is on you. The laser from Cait's ult is nothing but light.
