K so apparently this guy is Jesus because after I killed him he managed to steal the ascension.

Mostly just posting this because I'm super salty and we probably would have won that game if not for that cheese

Yeah, if damage over time kills the Ascended then the person will revive and be Ascended. I'm guessing they had an item that gave a bit of bleed or something.
