I completed the mission to unlock the project icons and continue with the storyline, but they were not added to my inventory. I've seen this bug in the past. Anyone know a way to fix this?

You don't get an icon for beating the missions... I was bummed as well. What you actually get, is after beating all 3 Missions, you will unlock another mission called "The End of the Hunt". Objective is: Win a PvP game of Summoner's Rift in under 33 minutes. The reward is a PROJECT: Hunters Emote.
