Step 2/2 Updating league of legends l 0 files scanned error at 60%

I have been trying to download this since this morning and it STILL hasn't worked...this is the 3rd time I've re-attempted to launch but either my computer turns off or it gets stuck at 33% and scans like 20,000 files...I'm kind of getting tired of this and I sincerely hope that riot or someone else will help me to fix this...
