Connection issues and Virus alerts

So I've started having an odd issue. I patched league a few nights ago and it ran fine. Last night I booted it and my antivirus program went insane with 2-3 hits of malware, then after all that straightened out I went to do a match but as soon as it went from champ select to what should be loading screen my client just wouldn't open loading screen. It keeps giving me a reconnect button but never reconnects. Today is the same thing. I've reinstalled and repatched and keep getting the same problem... any ideas?
