8 mins in, start getting FPS drops and freezes

I patched the new patch (8.15) and now after about 8 mins in every match, my screen locks up for a solid 3 seconds at a time every 30 seconds or so. This goes on until i have to disconnect and reconnect to the match, thankfully this all takes less than a minute to do but it's still making me lose gold and xp and more importantly, gives time for my lane opponent to catch up to me (or get further ahead). I have tried using the hextech repair tool to no avail. Is there a fix? System Windows 7 Core i7-4790K CPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB 16GB RAM

I'm having the exact same issue! At the start of every game I have to reconnect and the issue seems to disappear, but if I don't dc and reconnect at 8 minutes like you said the freezes will happen..
