Autofill stays activated

I used to cue as fill every third game happily when i had the "autofill activated" and play what ever role I filled to, then enjoy two games of cue into positions i wanted assured i would get them. Recently when i have cue'd as fill autofill stays enabled the next game. I'm curious if this is a bug or a change in how the autofill system works. Lastly, if it is an update is there any sort of algorithm for accepting fills when you have to but still being able to cue with some consistency when earned or appropriate?
