In-game chat, can't see what I or anybody else types.

This happened during the most recent patch.

• When I type something it doesn't show up in chat, but it makes the noise indicating that it was posted.
• Sometimes it just says the summoner name and nothing next to it. "[insert summoner name]: (blank)"
• I get things like the summoner's name and club tag, next to another summoner's name and club tag multiple times in a row
• Sometimes I get the chat much much later in the game, and sometimes I don't get it at all :/
• The monster events respond correctly and show up in my chat, like, "Enemy team destroyed turret" or something.

Help please?... :(
