Anivia's egg teleport still active

I just got out of a ranked game and wondered if this is a bug. Now we all know that one champ that bursts us all down with 3 abilities and that's Anivia. Now if anivia teleport's and gets killed in the process, aniva egg still continues with the teleport. Now, i feel like that's unfair because it doesn't give anyone a chance to kill her.... at all. Riot please look into this pls..
