Leaverbustered with client issues

So I just got tagged with leaverbuster que times because the lock in button during champ select wouldn't let me use it. Its happened a couple times but I can get it to work sometimes by spamming in and out of the client a bunch of times. Since the system is automated, and this leads to longer ban issues on something that isn't my fault, is there a way to over turn it. Kinda got in trouble a couple months back with rito and don't want to risk getting a larger punishment..
