[GAMEPLAY] Item disappeared when I bought another item.

I was playing in an ARAM and started off with a and x2 . When I died I bought a x2 going for , and then bought the full on next death. But when I double clicked the I noticed my disappeared in my item slots.. I had a blank spot where the was and then and my . I wasn't refunded any gold and I was able to move the blank spot with another item, but when I did move it it seemed to fully disappear as I couldn't move it anymore and eventually had 6 items with no blank spot.
