Bug? or What?

Okay so.... lets get to the point, I simply look for a ranked game, took a while and clicked the "X" button to get out, and all of the sudden i get a pop up saying you joined a game, quitting is imminent or something like that. So... waiting a few seconds having an expression of wtf. The game puts me in for about 10-20 seconds and kicks me out. I go back in and I am waiting 30 mins because of that. This is what got me mad. So RIOT pls. Help fix it.
