Beta launcher slowing the game

Ever since I upgraded to the new launcher league, that used to run at 70/80 fps, now runs at 20 at most. My computer is not great but if I go back to the legacy launcher I can still get 70/80 fps, so I know it's not because of the pre-season patch... If anyone could help me I would rather apreciate it
