Low FPS and no sound

Today I tried to play a game, and I launched from the launcher as normal, but then when in game there was zero sound. Nothing at all, no announcer, no ability sound, no character sound etc... As well as this every 2 seconds or so my game would just freeze, resulting in it being completely unplayable. Really sucked. Tried restarting PC and initiated a full repair from the league launcher, neither solved the issue. Wanted to know if anyone else has had these problems, or if they have found a solution.

Actually, I found a way to play without having problems but there are casualties. When you go in-game, go to setting, then to the sound, scroll all the way down till you see "Disable sound." Press that, "okay" it, then it works smoothly, the only problem is now that you can't hear anything but the fps will work fine. Doesn't solve the sound but at least you'll be able to play. Its a problem for us though since we won't be able to hear the pings that our teammates send us and it just ruins the gaming experience.

I'm having the same problem too! Sadly enough I don't have a solution. I tried the same thing you did, but I got the same results as you described. I think it's a bug that only Riot can fix at this point since we can't do anything at our end. At least, that we know of. Its frankly getting annoying. I'm also experiencing not being able to go back to the recent match history, thus it's saying that I haven't completed my missions even though I obviously did. For example, it told me to win a match of pvp so I went into a game and it started to bug, but we won the match. After I went back to the lobby, it said I didn't complete the mission. This is starting to get annoying, please fix this Riot!!

Same issue here. Sometimes i can resolv the problem by relaunching the game and playing with different video parameters...

I'm having the same problem, it was fine but it came out of no where after this morgana and kayle update. Would like to hear if anyone found a solution other than just disabling sound in-game. Riot told me to reinstall which I already did about 4 times.
