Wrong amount of IP displayed on client

so, i really have 2741 but it says i have 3447, this kinda messes me up when i feel like buying a champ or something since i think i have enough. Its like that almost all the time, it resets when i buy something, but when i close client and re-open, it usually starts showing the wrong amount again, how to fix?
