Wanted to ban Ekko.

I'm in a draft game with a friend. I enjoy playing jungle and during the ban phase I go to try to ban Ekko. He isn't on the list even when I search his name in the search bar... I safely assume that none of the enemies own him. It turns out that the enemy jungler choose Ekko and I asked him how he was able to choose Ekko even though he didn't own him, and he replies "hacks"... so I'm not sure where to post this besides the bug boards.
