[GAMEPLAY ISSUE] Thresh & Relic Shield Bug Perhaps?

So I tried out thresh for the first time 2 days ago, and I got relic shield like I normally do for my tank supports, and every time I tried to execute a minion it wasn't executing it. I even would check the health needed to execute along with the minions health and it still wasn't going. It would give the gold to myself & the person nearby if I landed the killing blow like you would do when just regularly CSing. (I even had charges for the executes) Thought I was doing it wrong until yesterday when I was playing Poppy and the Thresh support we had was freaking out about the relic shield not working. Which I realized it might not have just been me. I played Leona in another game, and the executes were working perfectly fine. Just with Thresh it wasn't. Haven't tried any other supports than those two. (I lied, I did Blitz and he was fine too)

Execute on Relic Shield is melee only.

Thresh is ranged.

Gold is shared if you kill a minion through any source.

This is a common mistake and there are usually several false bug reports on the topic each week.

No, this isn't a bug

Thresh is considered a ranged champion which is why relic shield doesn't execute minions

There's no need to be rude about it. As I said in the post, I never played Thresh before, and the topic says "perhaps" to show I was not sure about it. I was ignoring it til the other Thresh freaked about it. But I don't know if he was new or not either. I was simply making sure that it wasn't, as I was directed to this forum by a Riot employee from Twitter. So. Stop being what we call in the League community as "toxic."

I actually did scroll through the bug board, no I did not search but I did look. I didn't see anything, so I reported it. Life is actually something to be pleasant about, something of which you do not know about. Maybe if you had something good going in your life, you would be happy and not looking through the forums to be completely and unnecessarily rude to someone just trying to do something good in a game that YOU play. Now, if you need someone to talk about with this unnecessary anger you have, I will surely offer any assistance. After all, living with anger is barely living at all. Have a nice day.

I couldn't help but laugh at your post. My first post was sarcastic, but you got so defensive for no reason which is why I'm telling you now.

But really, scrolling through the posts wont help at all. If you want to find anything of these boards you're going to have to use the search box.
