Riot Please Give Me Some Assistance

I have not been able to play League of Legends for some time now and it scans files but when it gets to part 2/2 and starts downloading the "patch" it slows and sometimes freezes my computer. As you may see from my account I am a loyal player and spend most my time on League and promoting League among my community, So i would hope youre able to help me resolve my problem for i can actually get back to doing what i enjoy.
