Frames Freezing very often after a new upgrade 9.23

This is Riot's problem. I've tried reinstalling league multiple times, reinstalled my windows (complete format). I do not use any outside programs like blitz or discord when i play league, and yet i have the same issue. My computer is also well above Riot's given recommended spec. Time to play something else.

theres literally hundreds of these threads right now. reinstall the client, try windows update. play a different game cuz riot can't keep the integrity of their servers or clients for shit...

I'm having the same issue. I have an i7 8700K and GTX1080TI. Also 16GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM. WTF Riot.

ok I found one that has consistently worked. run NOTHING in the background. open task manager and close any and all extra programs. EVERYTHING (well not like essential processes but u know what I mean). then this crybaby snowflake of a program seems to lighten the f*** up...

I have gaming PC as well, I'm getting skipping, sound breaking, each game has frozen twice since 9.23. HELP!!! What happened?

Same issue here. Even happens in TFT. I have a GTX 1080 and an i7 with 32 GB RAM. Started with new patch. Ping is stable. I also do not use blitz. I have disc open usually but still happens when I completely shut Discord down and play league.

I have tried: Restarting League Restarting computer Checking files for corruption updating drivers Updating OS

I will try: Running everything at lowest quality Uninstall and reinstall client Checking to see if my computer has teleport equipped

Let me know any other ideas to fix this. I will update as I try the fixes.

This may or may not help, but I was having some issues after 9.22. I updated to the latest GeForce drivers using a clean install and haven't had a problem since.

Same my game will freeze 15 to 20 times a game. I have an amazing computer and have had LoL on Max specs for 2 years. Now I can't even play the game on low specs.

Same issue here. Ping is always less than 30. FPS never drops. i7 8700k and 1070ti. Never had an issue with any game stuttering until this league update.
