When I open the league of legends program, the symbol comes up, but never begins to expand into the login screen. When I click on the symbol, it asks me: "League of Legends isn't responding right now, what would you like to do?". My options are, Close the program: that doesn't work... **the symbol stays there and becomes white. **And the other option is, wait for the program to respond: the league of legends has been sitting there for a week now, and i'm getting really annoyed, and now I am wondering: Are you having problems like this too, and does anyone have a solution?

Hey there!

Let's try to reinstall the game. Download and run the Hextech Repair Tool. When running the HRT, make sure to check the "Reinstall" box and click Start. After the HRT finishes reinstalling the game, restart your computer and run the League Client as an administrator.

If a reinstall does not fix the issue, send a Support Ticket over to Riot Support explaining the issue. Make sure to provide the generated Hextech Repair Tool logs in your ticket and Player Support can take a closer look at your issue.
