Problem with lol launcher(missing)

Hello guys, i've stopped playing this game for about a year and now that i returned i have a problem and i can't play. After installing the game, the LoL launcher is missing both from desktop and from league of legends files. I can't find it anywhere. The only way i can play is by downloading the game and then launch it automatically, but every time i do it, it is patching before i can sign in and it's such a tiring thing. Can anyone help me solve the problem?
